The opening ceremony of the under-25 Badminton contest for the Shan State Prime Minister's Cup was held at the State Training Center in Taunggyi.
The State Chief Minister Dr. KyawTun attended the opening ceremony and said that the contest will select the best athletes for the Shan State team to compete in the Region/State Badminton Tournament to be held in Nay Pyi Taw from the 18th to the 22nd of August 2022. After his speech, the Chief Minister met with the athletes and judges and watched the contest. It’s reported that 24 teams are taking part in this under-25 Badminton contest for the Shan State Prime Minister's Cup.
