Sport Activities And Funfairs: Sport Activities And Funfairs Marking The Independence Day

With the cooperation of the ministry of construction conducting as focal ministry and the ministry of hotel and tourism, ministry of ethnic affairs, state constitutional tribunal and the central bank of Myanmar as supporting ministries, the sports competitions and funfairs to mark the 74th Anniversary Independence Day on January 4, 2022 were held at No (3) Sub Basic Education High School (ThaPyayGone), Nay Pyi Taw in line with the directives of COVID-19 preventive measures.

The union minister for construction U Shwe Lay, union minister for ethnic affairs U Saw Tun Aung Myint, deputy ministers, permanent secretaries, director-generals and senior officials, staff families, principal of No (3) Sub Basic Education High School (ThaPyayGone) and teachers, sports competitiors, students and ward residents cheer the competitions of Sepak Takraw, Htoke see toe, racing and tug of war, multi games of the children.

After the conclusion of the sports competitions, Union Minister U Shwe Lay awarded the prize for the winner team in tag-of-war, Union Minister U Saw Tun Aung Myint presented prize for the winner teams of Htoke see toe competition and the deputy ministers and departmental officials also awarded the winner teams of the respective sport competition.

The sports competitions commemorating the 74th Anniversary Independence Day were held with the aims at physical and mental fitness and happiness for the staff families and students, it’s reported.
