Special Postage Stamps: Special commemorative postage stamp to be issued

The Myanmar Post, under the Ministry of Transport and Communications, will issue and sell a special 200-kyat postage stamp featuring Myanmar Laphet (tea leaf) cultivation in honor of locally grown Laphet.

The stamps will be available from 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2026. The special stamps will be sold simultaneously at the Nay Pyi Taw Central Post Office, Yangon General Post Office, Mandalay General Post Office, and major post offices across regions and states.

As a special arrangement, postage stamps and First Day Covers purchased on February 26 will be marked with a commemorative date stamp at the Nay Pyi Taw Central Post Office, Yangon General Post Office, and Mandalay General Post Office.
