Special Economic Zones: Meeting of Myanmar SEZ Central Working Body

Myanmar Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Central Working Body held its meeting at the Ministry of Commerce  Meeting in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.

Chairman of the Central Body Union Minister of Finance and Revenue Dr. Kan Zaw emphasized the role of SEZs in boosting national economic development, creating jobs, increasing exports, attracting foreign investment, and raising foreign income. The meeting reviewed the implementation of decisions from the previous 2025-2026 fiscal year, while SEZ management committees presented reports on their activities. Discussions were held on each zone’s performance and progress.
