
South Korea reported 84 new coronavirus cases, bringing the country's total infected to 8,320, the country's health authority said on Tuesday. This marks the third day in a row that the daily increase in new cases was below 100, compared with a peak of 909 on February 29.
South Korea's Vice Health Minister also said the country is planning to implement special entry procedure for both nationals and foreigners who are entering the country from abroad. President Moon Jae-in said on Monday that he was increasingly confident South Korea would overcome the coronavirus as the rate of new infections continued to drop, although authorities noted another cluster had emerged in the greater Seoul area.
