South Korea’s Lee meets with Chinese FM in Seoul

South Korean President Lee Jae Myung met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Seoul on Thursday. During the meeting, President Lee noted the complete recovery of relations between Seoul and Beijing. Wang Yi called for South Korea to pursue an independent foreign policy and enhance strategic cooperation.

Discussions also included regional security, and cooperation regarding the Korean Peninsula, aiming to coordinate ahead of the November APEC summit.
