Soldiers from NATO countries train in northern Norway

Around 10,000 soldiers from NATO countries exercise in Troms County in northern Norway during Joint Viking 2025, to train Norwegian forces to operate with allied forces in harsh winter conditions. The exercise runs from March 3 to 14 with soldiers from Norway, Canada, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and the United States taking part.
