Social Affairs: Work Plans For Monitoring And Evaluation Team

Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement on Tuesday held a meeting for work plans of Monitoring and Evaluation Team responsible for the works of INGOs which signed MoUs with the Ministry. In this meeting, Union Minister Dr. Thet Thet Khine stressed the Ministry’s policies for social economic development and able community building.

There are 58 MoUs with 44 INGOs, she added.

The Union Minister urged the Monitoring and Evaluation Team to accelerate cooperation with states/regions respective departments and to monitor and evaluate the works of the INGOs.

This meeting continued to explain the Standard Operating Procedure of the Monitoring and Evaluation Team and discuss MoU signing, entry visa and local travel permit for foreign staff and humanitarian assistance issue from the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on disaster management (AHA Centre).
