Kyin Saw, Chairman, Shwe Padauk Fish Market Committee said “We have to work to improve the demand of our markets and to get the market which foreigners can buy directly from us. To be able to do business, we need to think the market to become an advanced one to attract foreigners.”
Maung Naing, Marketeer, Shwe Padauk Fish Market said “It was very difficult to sell 10,000 visses of goods in the past. Now, we can sell 30,000 to 40,000 visses a day. It has progressed a lot and also our income has increased a lot. I think, it is better the market to become an international standard one. But, we are not willing to join with privates. I think it will be more convenient if the department and marketeers work together.”
