Smoke billows after Israeli strikes near Lebanon's Tyre

Israeli airstrikes hit southern Lebanon, including areas near the coastal city of Tyre, with smoke reported rising over the region. Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) said at least three people were killed when Israeli drones struck vehicles on the Kafr Rumman–Jarmaq highway and the Jarmaq–Khardali road in the Nabatieh area.

The Israeli military also issued forced displacement orders covering multiple towns in southern Lebanon. In Israel, two far-right ministers called for an escalation of military operations in Lebanon.
