A 3.3-magnitude earthquake hit with its epicenter about 5 miles northeast of Hpakant Township on Tuesday morning, according to the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology.
The slight earthquake in Kachin State with a depth of 12 kilometers occurred at 7 hrs 10 minutes 49 seconds Myanmar Standard Time.
