SKorea to send $5 million in quake aid to Turkiye

South Korea said that it’s providing an initial 5 million USD in humanitarian support to Turkiye in response to a devastating earthquake that killed thousands across the region and Syria.

South Korea’s Foreign Ministry said that officials are planning to discuss with Turkish authorities to determine the specifics of the support and when it would arrive. South Korea also plans to dispatch a 60-person search and rescue team and also send medical supplies to Turkiye through a military aircraft.
