The Korea International Cooperation Agency, KOICA, had stepped forward to strengthen Sri Lanka’s national Thriposha nutrition programme and signed a Record of Discussions with the Government of Sri Lanka to formalize the partnership on Saturday in Columbo of Sri Lanka.

The agreement marked a significant milestone in bilateral development cooperation between Seoul and Colombo, focusing on climate-resilient and locally sourced food systems to support one of Sri Lanka’s flagship nutrition initiatives. Under the agreement signed this week, KOICA has awarded a grant of 10 million US dollars to enhance the sustainability of the Thriposha programme.
