Skilled Technology Workforce : Project Show at South Dagon GTC

To develop a skilled technology workforce and strengthen industry connections, project show and talk show were conducted at Government Technological College (South Dagon) on Friday. 

A total of 19 projects covering a diverse range of fields of study were showcased at the event. Deputy Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Nay Chi Lei Lei Thein attended the event and delivered remarks, emphasizing on significant contribution of innovation and digital transformation in nation’s development process.

Highlighting the importance of the AI, digital technology, automation, smart systems and green technology in workplaces and social sector nowadays, the Deputy Minister encouraged young people to put their knowledge and skills into practice and urged stakeholders to nurture skilled and capable human resources. Following this, panel discussion, introduction of China Harbour Engineering Company Limited and job opportunities were discussed.
