Sinners' wins top prize at Screen Actors Guild awards

“Sinners” won the top prize — Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture — at the 32nd annual Actor Awards, marking a major moment in the awards season and positioning the film as a leading contender ahead of the Oscars.

The supernatural thriller directed by Ryan Coogler and starring Michael B. Jordan earned the best ensemble honor — widely regarded as one of the most prestigious awards from actors voting for their peers. Michael B. Jordan also won Best Male Actor for his dual role in Sinners. Jessie Buckley took Best Female Actor for Hamnet. Supporting acting and television categories had several winners, including Sean Penn and Amy Madigan.
