Singapore and South Korea have agreed to upgrade their free trade agreement, working in areas such as supply chain resilience, trade facilitation and aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul.

It’s among six deals exchanged during South Korean President Lee Jae Myung’s state visit to Singapore. Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong has described the countries’ partnership as critical in a challenging geopolitical landscape. They affirmed an excellent state of bilateral relations, and also agreed to explore deepening cooperation in AI, digital issues and cyber security.
