Shanghai's Spring Festival Box Office Reached 262 million

This year's Spring Festival film market is bustling, with a record of 6.7 billion yuan. Among them, the total box office of the Spring Festival in Shanghai reached 262 million, ranking the first in the country's urban box office.

It exceeded 249 million yuan in 2019 before the epidemic, and reached the highest 259 million yuan in 2022, setting a record high. During the Spring Festival, a total of 75,300 times of films were screened in cinemas across the city, with 3.88 million audiences.

This year's Spring Festival, the average ticket price of Shanghai cinema was 67 yuan, not only lower than 73 yuan in Beijing, but also lower than 70 yuan in Shanghai's Spring Festival last year.
