Shan State Day: SAC Member Attends 75th Anniversary Celebration

The 75th Anniversary of Shan State Day was also celebrated on Monday in Taunggyi of Shan State. The celebration began with member of the State Administration Council (SAC) U Sai Long Hseng reading out the message sent by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.

It continued with presenting certificates of honour and prizes for outstanding managment, security and law enforcement, agriculture, livestock, health, social and research works. There, Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung provided 150 sets of solar panel in commemoration of the Shan State Day.

Member of the State Administration Council U Sai Long Hseng, union ministers and other officials ceremonially opened the Vegetables Festival in commemoration of the Shan State Day. They also gave speeches before providing bags of fertilizers for farmers and growers. Also, Shan State Chief Minister presented memorable gifts to Member of the State Administration Council U Sai Long Hseng and union ministers. They also viewed the vegetables exhibition halls and issuance of National Registration Cards.
