



Member of the State Administration Council [SAC] Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Soe Htut met with members of security forces and the police force and their family members as well as departmental personnel.
First, on July 20, at the No. 3 Police Training School in Sagaing Township of Sagaing Region, the Union Minister held talks with officers and other ranks on security measures and provided foodstuffs and cash assistance. Also, in Monywa Township of Sagaing Region and Pakokku Township of Magway Region, the Union Minister met with members of security forces and the Police Force.
On July 21, in Kantbalu and Ye-U townships, the Union Minister met with met with members of security forces and the Police Force. In the meetings, the Union Minister explained situation of the current terrorist acts in the country and the improvement of regional peace and stability. He urged the members of the Police Force to join hands with the Tatmadaw for stability of the country.
Since Myanmar is a democratic country, a free and fair election will be held and all those who are eligible can vote. It is necessary to have security, peace and stability in the whole country to hold elections. There, the Union Minister provided foodstuffs and cash assistance to the security forces and the Police Force.
Also, on July 20 and 21, in Pakokku, Kantbalu and Ye-U townships, the Union Minister met with departmental personnel, explained the improving state of stability and peace in the country, urged the attendees to effectively form public security groups and provided cash assistance.
The Union Minister also met with family members of the fallen members of security forces and the Police Force and the injured and provided cash assistance. During his trip, at the No. 3 Police Training School, the Union Minister inspected the mess room and had meals together with trainees. On July 20, the Union Minister attended a dinner honouring the members of security forces and the Police Force and provided cash assistance to honour those who have done their best for security measures.
