Security forces at scene after migration officer found dead in Mexico

Mexican security forces guard the scene after a migration officer was found dead near the border with the United States.

According to Mexico's National Migration Institute, the agent's body was found with "signs of violence." 

Three suspects-two Venezuelans and one Colombian have been detained over the incident, which comes amid an expected crackdown on illegal migration ahead of Donald Trump taking office as US President on January 20.
