School shooting in southern Philippines kills at least two

At least three students were killed and eight others injured in a shooting at a high school in the southern Philippines on Friday. The shooting happened at the Banga National High School in South Cotabato province in Mindanao and now the areas of the school have been cordoned off.

Officials said the shooter and the victims were ninth-grade students and classmates. Friday's shooting comes one month to the day after a student livestreamed himself shooting a schoolmate dead before taking his own life at another school in Mindanao. Live shooter drills were conducted across the Philippines this month to strengthen security. It’s the country's third deadly campus attack since June.
