School Health Week: Ceremony held in Taninthayi Region

A commemoration ceremony for 2022-2023 academic year School Health Week Campaign was held at No.3 Basic Education High School in Dawei of Taninthayi Region on Saturday.
Chief Minister U Myat Ko said promoting the health standard of students is crucial for building a healthy society, so also the development of a nation relies on the education and health standards of the citizens.
In order to promote awareness for the education and health staff and entire people, the second week of August has been designated as the school health campaign week, and the activities are being held annually.
He urged all to cooperate in the school health activities for promoting health and fitness of the students who are the future investment of the nation.
The students who won prizes in the commemorative essay, cartoon and painting contests were also awarded during the ceremony. The Chief Minister and party later viewed the activities and commemorative booths for school health week.
