S. Korea, US hold combined river-crossing exercise

South Korea and U.S. military personnel held a large-scale river-crossing exercise at a training field in Yeoncheon,South Korea on Tuesday.

The militaries launched their biggest joint exercises in years Monday while North Korea said it tested submarine-fired cruise missiles in an apparent protest of the drills. The Joint exercises include computer simulations involving North Korean aggression and other security scenarios and field exercises.
