Russian FM Lavrov meets Vietnamese counterpart

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Wednesday met with his Vietnamese counterpart Bui Thanh Son in Hanoi.

During his two-day Vietnamese trip, the minister is also expected to hold talks with Vietnamese Prime Minister and Communist Party General Secretary. The visit comes as Russia and Vietnam mark 10 years since they expanded their relationship to a comprehensive strategic partnership. Later in the week, he is scheduled to attend a meeting in Indonesia of foreign ministers from the Group of 20 leading rich and developing countries.
