Russia FM welcomed by Saudi counterpart in Riyadh

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with the foreign ministers of the countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council in Riyadh. The meeting comes as the U.S. and European Union are exerting more pressure on Moscow over its military operation of Ukraine.According to the Saudi news agency, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Al Saud said that his country supports efforts aimed at reaching a political solution to end the Russia-Ukraine crisis and achieve security and stability.
