Rural Development Works: Union Minister Inspected Regional Development Works

The Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe inspected the implementations for the development of cooperatives works and regional development works in Pyin Oo Lwin Township on Wednesday.

First, the union minister and party met with the in-charges of the region and the responsible officials from Township Cooperatives Society at the office of cooperatives department, Pyin Oo Lwin Township.

The union minister said that the ministry is implementing creation of job opportunity for the development of socio-economic life for about 70% of rural population, availability of capital, infrastructure development of the rural area. After scrutinizing the matter of loan disbursed from EXIM Bank of China and it will be carried out to return left unpaid loans.

The assistance will be provided for those who want to run cattle farms in Tada-U, Sint Kaing, Kyaukse and Madaya Townships. The union minister instructed to implement the “No Loss, No Reaping Profit” system in providing loans to the people. Later, the union minister and party visited Boe Nay Dun Village and inspected water generating work implementing by the department of rural development and construction of asphalt road in Yay Tha Yauk Village under Village Development Project (VDP) and provided 5 milliion Kyats for the construction of asphalt road.
