Rural Development Works: Development projects in Danu Self-Administered Zone inspected

Deputy Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Myint Soe met with Chairman of Danu Self-Administered Zone U Arker Lin on 18th November and discussed for implementation of smart village projects and the regional development projects to be carried out by State Economic Promotion Fund.

They later inspected construction of 2-storey office building, being constructed with the alloted budget of Rural Road Development Department in Pindaya Township.

The Deputy Minister and party also visited KyarKone Village, which is implemented as the Smart Village, and met with the local people. Officials reported on work undertakings and future plans, and the Deputy Minister instructed to complete the project in the targeted time.

The Deputy Minister and party later inspected the livestock breeding and foodstuff industry being implemented by Rural Business Fund of the Rural Development Department. They also inspected construction of production road in Kalaw, foodstuff industry in NyaungShwe and oil mill in Taunggyi, and instructed for constant supply of raw materials and produing healthy foods.
