Rural Development: Trade Road Opened In Mawlamyaing Area Of Mon State

Hailing the 77th Armed Forces Day, Mon State Government opened a trade road in YoeGoe Village of Mawlamyaing. Chief Minister U Zaw Lin Tun and concerned officials attended the road opening ceremony by giving speech, words of thanks and gifts.

The Chief Minister and officials ceremonially opened the road and inspected it. There, the Chief Minister also stressed acceleration of peanut, sunflower and sesame plantation and systematic methods for agriculture and livestock sectors.

This 7.73-mile long trade road in YoeGoe Village was constructed under the State Government budget of 98.406 million Kyats in the fiscal year of 2021-2022. The road will benefit 530 acres of farmland, it’s learnt.

Also, the Chief Minister attended a blood donation ceremony organized by the Mon State Young Men's Buddhist Association at the Mawlamyaing General Hospital and provided nutritious stuff to those who donated blood.
