Rural Development: Agriculture and livestock activities in Lewe Township

Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Myo Zaw Thein visited Lewe Township on Thursday to inspect crop cultivation, livestock breeding, and production activities under the cooperative system.

He encouraged systematic and cooperative farming practices to increase productivity, prevent animal diseases, and ensure sufficient feed supply. The Union Minister also met with local farmers, advising them to coordinate planting, fertilization, and harvest schedules under the system to maximize efficiency and profits, while officials promised support for quality seeds, fertilizers, and irrigation.

The visit concluded with discussions on local development and coordinated solutions to improve agricultural outputs in the township.
