Rubio meets with India’s PM Modi, to strengthen bilateral partnership

On Saturday, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi to strengthen the US-India Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership. The discussions focused on expanding bilateral cooperation across defense, critical technologies, energy security, and advancing a free and open Indo-Pacific.

Rubio is in India for a four-day diplomatic visit aimed at renewing ties and stabilizing relations following recent trade tensions and tariff disputes. His visit to India is in line with the Quad Foreign Ministers' meetings, underscoring the united front for promoting a free, open, and inclusive Indo-Pacific region.
