RRegional Investment: Sagaing Region Investment Committee Meeting held

Sagaing Region Investment Committee Meeting (9/2022) was held at the Regional Government Office on 25th October.

Chairman of the Magway Region Investment Committee the Region Chief Minister U MyatKyaw, the Regional Ministers, the Region Investment Committee members and officials from the companies attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the Region Chief Minister said that 4 industrial enterprises and 1 service enterprise, altogether 5 have been invested in the 1st 6-month of 2022-2023 financial year in the region and over 1,500 job opportunities have been created.

Efforts are made for the inflow of investment in the 2nd 6-month period and more job creation.

The Region Investment Committee has extended the term for construction period of the enterprises in line with procedures and the industrialists are invited in priority to make investment in agriculture, breeding and industrial zones of the region.

Officials reported on asking the comments from Mandalay Beverages Enterprise Co., Ltd., applying the vacant, follow and virgin land areas for livestock breeding by Ma Du Co., Ltd, extension of the construction term and making field trip during September through power point presentation. The Regional Minister and members of the Region Investment Committee members reported investment businesses respectively. The Region Chief Minister then coordinated the needs on the reports of officials.
