Robots race with humans in Beijing half-marathon

The second humanoid robot half marathon took place in Beijing E-Town on Sunday with more than 100 robot teams participated. Participating models included 26 brands and over 300 humanoid robots while this year’s race reflects broader industry maturity, shifting toward full-system performance in real-world scenarios.

The event showed off the speed and technological advancements of new machines. It was roughly five times larger than its predecessor and, for the first time, featured international participation such as France, Germany and Brazil.
