Return home: Locals around Lay Kay Kaw returned home

As the peace and stability have been restored in Lay Kay Kaw New region of Kayin State, the security forces and responsible persons from the departments are making arrangements for the locals to reside at their own places.

So, the displaced people have been returning their places. On January 6, a total of 83 people including 45 men and 38 women returned to Mae Htaw Thalay Village. From 29th December, 2021 to date, a total of 6706 people including 3151 men and 3553 women have returned to the villages in Lay Kay Kaw region.

They are accepted systematically by the responsible officials and the medical officers from the respective hospitals and the Tatmataw Medics tested COVID-19 and handed over documents for staying Quarantine and explained them about the directives of the Ministry of Health. The responsible officials from respective military command and the departmental officials also coordinated necessaries.
