Rescue efforts underway after landslide hits China's Chongqing

Massive rescue efforts are underway in Pengshui County, Chongqing of China, after a rain-triggered landslide struck on Friday. The collapse sent rocks and soil into a residential area along the Wujiang River, burying more than 10 buildings.

At least 10 people have been rescued, but over 800 emergency personnel are actively working to locate dozens of missing individuals. Authorities have dispatched more than 8,000 disaster relief items, including tents and family emergency kits, while safely evacuating hundreds of nearby residents.
