







The Kayah State Government is working to systematically resettle people who have returned after being temporarily displaced. As part of these efforts, basic education schools in these wards and villages are being reopened for teaching. In the morning on September 15, State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin, along with members of the State Government and responsible officials, visited Pan Kan Village Basic Education High School, No. (4) Basic Education High School, and Htay Thama (Training Middle School), which reopened today, to observe and encourage the peaceful learning of students.
First, the State Chief Minister and officials arrived at Pan Kan Village Basic Education High School and Mai Lone Ward No. (4) Basic Education High School, which reopened today. They met with teachers, students, and parents, warmly greeted them with words of encouragement, and toured the schools to observe students learning happily and peacefully. Subsequently, Chief Minister provided necessary coordination with relevant departments regarding the explanations and presentations about the reopening of the schools by the State Education Officer and responsible officials.
Next, the Chief Minister and officials proceeded to Htay Thama (Training Middle School) in Htay Thama ward. They observed students learning happily and peacefully and instructed the responsible officials to continuously maintain cleanliness and beautification inside and outside the school and to ensure the availability of complete teaching aids.
It is reported that 380 students are currently attending the three basic education schools that reopened today. The enrollment and acceptance of students who have returned to their homes will continue to be carried out.
