Renovation Works: Major renovation at training school and gem museum

Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U San Oo inspected the major renovation works at the Environmental Conservation Department Training School in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

Officials reported on construction progress, repairs to damage caused by the Mandalay earthquake, and plans to resume training courses next fiscal year. The Union Minister instructed officials to ensure the effective training programs to improve capacity of the staff in environmental management, administrative work, and workplace rules and responsibilities.

The Union Minister and party later inspected major renovation works at the Myanmar Gems Museum. He instructed officials to complete the work on schedule, meeting the set standards. He also inspected preparations at the Mani Yadana Jade for the Myanmar Gems Exhibition and improvements to the Jade Garden.
