In order for the public to live in peace, the Tatmadaw conducted a Counter-Terrorism Operation in collaboration with local people who desire stability and peace. Full control over KyaukmeTownship in Shan State (North) has been regained.

In cooperation with relevant department officials and Tatmadaw members, efforts are being vigorously made to provide security for the local populace and necessary assistance, to reopen government administrative offices, schools for children's education, and hospitals for public healthcare services, among other rehabilitation tasks.

As part of these ongoing efforts, Basic Education High School No. (1) in Kyaukme Township was reopened on October 8. Students are now attending lessons peacefully, and school enrollment continues. An additional 836 students have enrolled, bringing the total number of students receiving education to 1,042.

These newly enrolled students were provided with free textbooks, writing materials, and other supplies from the Ministry of Education, and relevant officials are addressing any further needs. Furthermore, the Department of Immigration and Population is conducting household list verification and issuing Citizenship Scrutiny Cards for local residents returning to Kyaukme.

Additionally, members of security forces are carrying out mine clearance operations in government offices and public areas within Kyaukme Township. Moreover, for the healthcare of local residents, a temporary hospital has been set up at the Labamuni Chinese Temple in Kyaukme, staffed by collaborating doctors and nurses from the Ministry of Health and the Tatmadaw, providing medical treatment.

In this day, outpatient services were provided to 105 individuals, and necessary healthcare services were administered to 2 patients requiring hospitalization. It is also reported that security force members continue to carry out territorial security and control duties to ensure the stability, peace, and long-term development of Kyaukme Township, enabling local ethnic people to live their socio-economic lives peacefully.
