Rehabilitation Efforts : Meeting with Islamic Religious leaders

Rakine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin together with the state ministers and departmental officials met with Islamic religious leaders at HmanSee Village in Sittwe on Saturday.

After greeting speeches by members of the State Government and Islamic religious leader, the Chief Minister said as the religious leaders are highly respected individuals in their areas, they have responsible to guide the residents for their benefits, especially in education for school-age-children, health and cleanliness in the IDP camps.

He also urged them to participate in discussion related to wards and IDP camps. Then, members of the state government clarified the matters regarding the cooperation in security and rule of law. Next, the religious leaders presented the needs in which the Chief Minister coordinated needs, providing foodstuff.
