Regulation on social commerce platforms

Indonesian President Joko Widodo hold a cabinet meeting to discuss electronic commerce in the country, with a particular focus on online shopping platforms as one of the main topics.

Trade Minister said that the meeting focused on e-commerce, and the operation of Tiktok online shop in the country. He added he will immediately revise the trade ministerial regulation number 50 year 2020. The Minister said the revised regulation will include a number of articles related to social commerce applications.
