Regional Tourism Committee : Shan State regional tourism Committee held a meeting

The Shan State Regional Tourism Committee held its meeting 3/2025 at the Shan State Government Office meeting hall in Taunggyi on September 27th, to propose and discuss integrated plans for the development and advancement of the tourism industry, increasing employment opportunities, and improving socio-economic conditions in Shan State.

At the meeting, Chairman of Shan State Regional Tourism Committee and Chief Minister U Aung Aung, emphasized the committee's responsibilities, which include developing and advancing tourism activities, enhancing standards and quality, human resource development, and collaboratively preserving cultural heritage and the natural environment.

Following this, the Committee Secretary Director of the Shan State Hotel and Tourism Supervision Department presented matters related to hotels and tourism activities, and decisions were made by the committees. Subsequently, participants engaged in general discussions, and the Committee Chairman Chief Minister delivered the concluding remarks, it’s reported.
