Regional Stability: Tatmadaw retakes villages along Mogok–Thabeikkyin road

Tatmadaw columns have continued operations along the Mogok–Thabeikkyin road, retaking Ohn Tan Village, Kin Village, Kin Bridge, and a nearby militant camp that were temporarily controlled by PDF armed terrorist groups.

The Tatmadaw has restored control over key areas in Madaya, Singu, and Thabeikkyin townships and reopened the Mandalay–Madaya–Singu–Thabeikkyin road. Security operations were also carried out along the Thabeikkyin–Mogok route to fully reopen transport links between Mogok, Thabeikkyin, and Mandalay.

According to the report, armed terrorist groups had built bunkers in monasteries, schools, houses, and near bridges, and had set up temporary checkpoints to collect money from locals while controlling the villages. It is learnt that security operations are ongoing in remaining areas, and it will continue working with local residents to ensure road security and stability in the region.
