Regional Meeting : Myanmar Air Force delegation attends 22nd AACC

A delegation led by Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung attended the 22nd ASEAN Air Chiefs Conference (22nd AACC), held in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The delegation departed Yangon on September 6 and participated in bilateral meetings with air force chiefs from Laos, Brunei, and Indonesia on September 7. On September 8, the Myanmar delegation joined other ASEAN air chiefs at the conference, where they discussed the theme “ASEAN Inclusivity and Sustainability of Non-Combatant Evacuation Operations” and signed joint agreements.

In the evening, they attended a dinner reception hosted by the Indonesian Air Force Chief. The Myanmar delegation returned to Yangon on September 10 and was welcomed by senior military officials at the international airport.
