Regional Development: Township Departmental Officials And Town Elders

Mon State Administration Council Chairman U Zaw Lin Tun met Chairman of Kyaikto Township Administration Council Chairman and township level departmental officials and town elders at the Kyaikto Township Administration Department on Wednesday.

At the meeting, Mon State Chief Minister U Zaw Lin Tun said that the departments need to help the pilgrims as much as possible as many visitors pay a visit to Kyaikhto and he urged the staffs to perform the tasks for better state mechanism and to live in line with the civil service ethics, law and bylaw.

He also stressed on renovation of ancient pagodas and temples, thrifty use of fuel and palm oil, efforts for education sector development and security measures. Chairman of  the Township Administration Council Chairman said there are a total of 173,523 population in Kyaikto township according to the census and COVID-19 vaccination is being conducted.

He also explained measures for alluvial lands and plan to hold Futsal tournament with 12 teams. The meeting was also attended by the State Ministers and concerned officials.
