Regional Development: Meeting On Development Of Myeik District Held

The Taninthayi Region Chief Miniser U Myat Ko held meeting with the Myeik Distict and Township Administration councils and departmental officials at Kyun YaTaNar meeting room of Myeik District General Administration Department on 18th January to discuss the development of Myeik District.

At the meeting, Chief Minister U Myat Ko gave the further clarification of the guideline instructions of the Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister, stressed the need to put the collective effort to produce quality products to meet the regional requirement, to acquire good paddy seeds, systematic ground preparation and to be assessable water resource and systematic growing to meet the regional need of rice and urged to cooperate for the yielding of rice.

The chief minister also pointed out for the development of regional tourism sector  based on the islands, electricity generation, systematic livestock breeding and COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures.

Next, the chairman of Myeik district administration council, chairman of Myeik district federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and departmental officials discussed for the development of Myeik district. Regarding with the discussions, chief minister coordinated necessaries and gave conclusion speech.
