Regional Development: Magway Region Investment Committee held its meeting

Magway Region Investment Committee held its meeting 3/2024 at the Magway Region Government office on 28th of March with the attendance of Chairman of the committee Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin.
At the meeting, the Chief Minister stressed that the government is making exerted efforts to provide necessary cash assistance to MSME enterprises by establishing State Economic Promotion Fund and MSME development fund. It’s important for the MSME entrepreneurs to keep in touch with the changing technologies and regularly update their system and process to stay competitive in the market.
In order to develop the local MSME enterprises, it’s necessary to encourage start-ups, to access with the international business networks and to attract local and foreign investments. He encouraged the relevant departmental officials to emphasize on development of local manufacturing, increasing export volume, providing necessary information and assistance to the entrepreneurs and raising awareness among entrepreneurs about the business network.
The meeting discussed for amendment of investment submission form as well as for the enterprise that Magway Region Investment Supervisory Board provided field service.
