Regional Development: Livestock breeding and agriculture works inspected

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan on 26th November visited cow breeding farm and production of dairy products at Shwe Nyaung Pin Ward in Myitkyina. He instructed for boosting production and provided cash and other assistance.

The Chief Minister and party later arrived at Hand Weaving Workshops and asked after the investment and market condition and production of traditional attires. On arrival at Myitkyina Agriculture Institute, the Chief Minister inspected the construction of research farm, Napier grass plantations, lecture halls, laboratory and warehouse. The Chief Minister also inspected farmland in Sitapu Ward to cultivate sunflower plantations as a winter mixed crops.
