Regional Development: Discussion on border trade and power generation

Kachin State Government held a meeting to explain the rules and regulations for exports of agricultural products to China on Friday.

Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan discussed that ensuring the smooth flow of commodities between Myanmar and China could help for regional development and job creation of local people. He stressed the needs to follow the rules and regulations for systematic operating of cargo trucks in exporting the agricultural products.

The Chief Minister also attended the meeting on feasibility studies for hydropower generation on NamtDaBek Creek of WaingMaw Township. He pledged to provide necessary assistance for generating of hydropower in line with the rules and regulations.
