Regional Development: Bago Region Chief Minister Makes Inspections

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win inspected regional development works. In Thanatpin Township, the Chief Minister inspected drainage and box culvert construction works, Basic Education High School, gave necessary instructions and provided 500,000 Kyats for teachers.

Also, he inspected a bridge construction on the Bago-Thanatpin-Khayan-Thanlyin Road under the budge of Bago Region Government, Mudu မုဒု and Thakala bridges under the union budget, heard reports and stressed systematic and quality construction.

At the Thakala Township General Administration Department, the Chief Minister made discussions with ward administrators on drainage and roads upgrade.

Also, at the Thakala 16-bed Hospital, he held talks with health officers and staff, coordinated construction of 2 buildings and provided 500,000 Kyats for the health officers and staff.

The Chief Minister also inspected the Bailey bridge in Kawa Township before giving instructions to concerned officials to conduct paddy and vegetable plantations along the bank of Bago River.
