Refresher course opened: Course on Factories and General Labour Laws Inspection

The Union Minister for Labour Dr. Pwint Hsan gave an opening remark at the opening ceremony of capacity building refresher course (2/2022) related to the Factories and General Labour Laws Inspection of the Ministry of Labour held at the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 28th November.

In his opening remark, the union minister said that the ministry is implementing to create more job opportunities for the sustainable development of human resources, strengthen development of job market, enforce to getting benefits included in labour laws, safety of work environment, execute the social security scheme project and carry out to reduce the disputes between the employees and employers in line with the prescribed labour laws by setting the policies, visions and missions in conformity with the developing politic, economic and social affairs of the country.

The Factories and General Labour Laws Inspection Department is to carry out for the workers to get the rights and benefits fully and correctly, occupational safety and healthcare matters in line with the laws and by-laws etc.

Also present at the opening ceremony were the deputy minister U Win Shein, director generals, deputy director generals and training instructors and the training will be given via Hybrid System for the 54 trainees from the regions and states.

The training course will take place for 10 days from 28th November to 9th December, 2022, it’s learnt.
