

The refresher course on construction of industrial park in Myanmar organized by TEDA Group under the supervising of the Ministry of Commerce of China was opened in the morning on 7th December via online system.
The training course is attended by 30 trainees from the ministries of planning and finance, labour, industry and special economic zones.
The first refreshing course will be organized virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic and it will take place14 days. The opening ceremony of refreshing course was attended by the commercial attaché of Chinese embassy to Myanmar Mr. Tan Shufu through online. In his opening remark, Mr. Tan Shufu said that there is a plenty of special economic zones and industrial zones in Myanmar.
The construction of industrial parks is rising and it comes to play the key role for the economic development of the country and socio-economic life of the people. Some of Chinese companies have participated and some are participating in the construction of industrial parks.
Among them, over 500 CMP factories include and those are generating nearly half of million job opportunities. Myanmar is at the most favorable period driving the development of industrial zones especially labor intensive industries. The purpose of giving this refreshing course is share the experiences gained in the construction of industrial parks by China.
